Gandhisagar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Madhya Pradesh is a lesser-known but beautiful sanctuary, it lies near the Gandhisagar Dam on the Chambal River mix of dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and riverline ecosystems

Facts of Gandhisagar Sanctuary 

▪️Gandhisagar sanctuary was established in 1974 to protect the region’s diverse flora and fauna.

▪️The sanctuary is divided between Mandsaur and Neemuch districts

▪️Part of it is classified under the Chambal River, National Chambal Sanctuary famous for gharials,  river dolphins

▪️It has diverse landscapes from forests, grasslands to rocky cliffs, riverbanks
