Top Scuba Diving Spots in Maharashtra

1. Tarkarli  is  most well-known scuba diving destination in Maharashtra, The Indian Institute of Scuba Diving, Aquatic Sports has a center here, can reach up to ~40 meters deep and there are good visibility conditions. 

Best time to dive: October to April, dive sites include coral reefs, marine life,  calm waters. 

2. Malvan is located in Sindhudurg district known for clear waters and coral patches. There are dive sites near Sindhudurg Fort with underwater rocky structures, there are safe dive spots, suitable even for beginners. 

Best time to dive: September to May, with peak conditions Oct-may, Devbagh Beach” near Tarkarli,Malvan is a dive spot. 

3. Raigad, Konkan Coast scuba diving services listed in Raigad district, there are water sports operators offering diving experiences.

▪️ Maharashtra Tourism has issued safety guidelines for water-based activities.
